I WISH IT WAS THAT EASY!

Don’t you hate it when people tell you to “just relax,” “just breathe,” or “calm down.” I think if we could just do any of those things, we wouldn’t be struggling with anxiety, right?! Keep scrolling for some coping skills that I have found beneficial in reducing anxiety, stress, and feeling overwhelmed. People understand, these coping skills are meant to be practiced every day and is not always a “solve all” for anxiety. You may have to use multiple skills, one skill may work one day and not another day, or you may need to think about seeing a therapist to further work on managing these anxious feelings if you are trying different skills with no success.
