Our approach

I practice standard Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (CBT), although other treatment approaches are used depending on the person or condition. I also rely heavily on Dialectical-Behavior Therapy (DBT) and using a Strengths-Based approach to help my clients reach their fullest potential and learn the skills needed to tackle life's obstacles on their own! I will work to help you with managing your mental health and personal challenges to maximize success in school, work, and/or your everyday life.

Providing you with a safe space to relax

Counseling can seem scary at first, but when you find a therapist who is a right fit for you, you should begin to feel more safe in expressing what is on your mind without fear of being judged. Similar to rock cairns (pictured left) which are carefully maintained by many national park staff to keep hikers on the correct path, my goal is to help you balance yourself and keep you on your right path.
